Botox® for Migraines
Botox has been proven to reduce tension associated with migraine headaches. The glabellum (or muscle group between the brow) can exacerbate migraine symptoms. Clients report relief from this secondary tension between the brows in as little as 4 days post injection. Also, here at Blue Water Spa, our nurse injectors have advanced training to treat the vice like grip of the glabellum conservatively but also not dismissing the aesthetic portion. This muscle group is technique dependent as to soften the pull that contributes to migraine symptoms without lowering the medial or lateral brow. Migraines tend to be circumferential by nature, and to remove the frontal muscle group variable leaves clients feeling a reduction in symptoms and frequency. Many clients who receive this treatment from our nurse injectors at Blue Water Spa call it “life changing”.
